Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leaderships & OversightReporting to the private equity sponsor team, partner in managing the enterpriseCollaborate with active private equity ownership to implement corporate strategy, assess financial implications, and execute the company's financial and operational strategy.Create and execute on agreed upon Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) for the business and translate these goals into actionable plans for the portfolio.Serve as a business partner to the executive management team, analyzing the business, identifying opportunities and issues, and establishing and supervising financial systems, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance.Advise the Board on financial results, policies, and procedures, ensuring that governance mandates are closely adhered to, particularly in relation to the audit committee.Implement and manage business planning, budgeting processes, and financial forecasting in collaboration with the private equity team.Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis of the financial performance vs. budget and relevant financial data to drive the business and profitability.Operations

Oversee the Corporate Accounting and Tax departments.Ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of the financial books and records, in compliance with GAAP standards.Monitor and oversee individual unit-level performance and initiatives.Report financial results to the Executive Team and Board, including weekly financial performance and detailed cash flow forecasting.Maintain understanding of all major issues affecting financing, management, and disposition of commercial real estate assetsMitigate key elements of the company's financial risk profile, including the establishment and monitoring of reliable control systems.Maintain corporate records as required by compliance policies.Manage any third parties to which accounting and financial functions have been outsourced.Review and approve all financial information and financial reporting filings.Strategic Planning

Assist in formulating the company's future strategic direction and supporting tactical initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and parent/corporate modeling.Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.Develop financial and tax strategies.Manage the capital needs request and budgeting processes.Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.Other duties as assigned

How is the success of the role measured?

Learn the business and establish credibility with the executive leadership team, the finance and accounting organization and the private equity firm.Become a strategic partner to the sponsor group. Quarterback the financial reporting cadence which includes both the internal operating team as well as outside parties:Develop a reporting cadence with a focus on business insight.Lead strategic projects as agreed upon with the private equity sponsor.Help lead Board material preparation and partner with private equity sponsor to drive relevant monthly and quarterly reviews.Work alongside the private equity team to educate the organization and support a culture of accountability, rigor, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.Work closely with senior management to improve business insight through financial analysis, KPI reporting, and other analytical tools.Develop credibility to influence the company by demonstrating an understanding of the business, insight into the operations and a command of the numbers / key drivers.Improve and further develop the capabilities of the finance and accounting organization biased toward business partnership and results.Establish processes in the finance function across internal controls, management reporting, and overall consolidation process.Deliver timely, relevant financial analysis to increase speed and accuracy in decision-making.Set enterprise-wide cadence and process, ensuring consistent procedures across the business.The Candidate

:Experience and Professional Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Strong track record of success in leading the finance function of a KPI-driven, performance-focused business with rigorous financial controls and reporting requirements.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to quickly synthesize data into actionable plans.Experience in Direct to Consumer and Licensing businesses.Experience in M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions), including detailed due diligence and successful integration of accounting and finance personnel and systems.Track record of marketing strategy and execution expertise, enhancing brand positioning and customer engagementProven experience turning around and growing companies with expertise in building or rebuilding scalable finance processes (FP&A, budgeting, etc.)Education:

An undergraduate degree is required. CPA and/or graduate degree in business is strongly preferred.
