Electrical Purchasing Manager

Summary of Position:Execute purchase requisitions to place Purchase Orders as and when needed and manage purchase orders through invoicing and delivery.Maintain accurate open Purchase Order lines with the inbound quantities and due dates from vendors.Escalate issues to leadership, commercial or technical partners when required (sourcing team, accounts payable, operations, etc.)Support onboarding and training of new suppliers to ensure operational excellence and compliance with Mechanical One's processes & policies.Identify and implement cost reduction solutions.Work collaboratively with different departments to ensure the organization's supply chain aligns with the business objectives, delivering high levels of customer service.Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Operations, Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent experience.3+ years' experience in direct electrical material sourcing, purchasing, inventory management or material planning in a manufacturing and/or construction industry.Ability to manage end-to-end purchasing cycle.Demonstrated vendor management skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.Preferred Qualifications:
