Job Description
Fulltime, Day Shift Registered Nurse, Fellow on the ED at Inova Alexandria Hospital
Schedule: Three 12hr shifts per week (shift hours: 7am - 7pm)
*This position is ideal for Experienced Nurses looking to change specialties. (Strongly prefer RNs with at least one year of experience in an acute and/or critical care setting).* Required to go through & complete an Emergency Fellowship upon start.

Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomesUtilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.Requirements:
Requires a minimum of twelve months of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
Strongly prefer 2 years plus of Acute or Critical RN experienceBSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.BLS for Healthcare Provider certification requiredCEN/ACLS certification desiredProficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward othersProficient computer skills required.
