Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a regional locum DVM to serve three small animal + exotics hospitals in Tucson, Arizona. All locations are within 15 miles of each other (less than 30 minutes apart).
This is a full-time relief position (flexible four-day work week, Monday-Saturday) that is perfect for doctors who easily connect with diverse teams and would find fulfillment having a dynamic caseload.
Background and experience:
Must be a licensed DVM (or the ability to become licensed) in ArizonaAbility to easily adapt to each hospital's culture/needsMust have strong communication skills5+ years of hands-on clinical experienceExperience with exotics is strongly preferredOur Tucson hospitals:
Vary between 2- and 3-doctor clinicsAll three locations see small animals and exotic petsMost surgery procedures are routine soft tissueTeam size ranges from 10-20 staff membersAll locations have multiple CVTSAll clinics have digital radiology and digital dental radiographsTwo practices are AAHA-Accredited, and one is Fear Free CertifiedAdditional services at select locations include acupuncture, laser therapy, and ultrasoundHours vary at all locations (7:30/8am start through a 5/6pm close on weekdays; shortened Saturday hours)WVP is committed to retaining excellent doctors and has established a competitive benefits program that focuses on work/life balance and allows our team to live a life of adventure.
