Position Overview:
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be an essential part of our imaging department, responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures and ensuring accurate diagnostic results. Your role will involve operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays.Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.Review and analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards and quality.Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care.Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a secure work environment.Qualifications:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Vermont.Proven experience in performing radiographic exams.Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, safety protocols, and patient care.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.Benefits:
