Our client, an industrial company, is seeking a Controller to report directly to the CFO. This is the ideal role for an accomplished professional looking to leverage their leadership abilities and accounting knowledge in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:Oversee accounting cycles including accounts payable, cash management, and billingPerform account reconciliations and maintain general ledgerManage fixed asset accounting and reportingOversee financial close processesAnalyze financial data and prepare reports for managementIdentify process improvements and cost-saving initiativesProvide guidance and supervision to the accounting staffCollaborate with cross-functional teams on financial mattersAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects as neededMaintain compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, and regulationsAd-hoc duties as assigned by the CFO and CEOQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldCPA or MBA is strongly preferred7 years of progressive accounting experienceExperience in the industrial parts sector is strongly preferredPrior experience managing and leading an accounting team is requiredStrong technical accounting skills and software proficiencyExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsVaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
