- 8-hr shift; starts at 7:30a• Patient Volume: 13-16• No of Cases: 15 (scheduled)• Support Staff: 1 APP, 2 RNs, 1 MA• Procedures:
- Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, Foreign body removal, Fulguration of bleeder, Injection of varices
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible, Rigid)
- Colonoscopy with Biopsy & Excision of polyp
- IVCS cases, No Anesthesia• Trauma Level: III• EMR: Epic• Responsibilities:
- Responsible for communicating biopsy results for all procedures to the patient directly
- Must coordinate additional steps to include referrals, follow-ups and additional imaging• Temporary Privileges available: Yes• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:• Active WA License or IMLC• BC/BE• ACLS
