The practice of Physical Therapy shall include assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, education, communication and demonstration of leadership to address the needs of patients and their families as well as to foster a positive working relationship among professionals and ancillary staff. Position requires general supervision.
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school.California Physical Therapist License upon hire.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.Preferred Qualification:
1 year Rehabilitation experience.Position Summary The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the State of CaliforniaCurrent AHA - BLSGraduate of an American Physical Therapy Associations accredited Physical Therapy degree programExperience in working with an adult and geriatric population is necessaryExperience with a disabled population in a hospital setting is desirableMust be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writingOrganizational and multi-tasking skills are essentialCERTIFICATIONS
