Position Highlights:Position: DietitianLocation: Elmhurst and Edward HospitalPer Diem - Scheduled as neededHours: Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm - rotating weekends (Sunday coverage 1 time per month) and no holidaysWhat you will need:
Master's Degree (Bachelor's Degree if graduated prior to January 1, 2024)Current State of Illinois Dietitian Nutritionist licensure (LDN) within ninety days of start date into position.Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential (RDN)Completion of required nutrition and dietetic coursework through ACEND-Accredited didactic program or coordinated program in dietetics.Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice through a dietetic internship, individualized supervised practice pathway or a coordinated program in nutrition and dieteticsMinimum of one year of clinical dietitian experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivatedProblem solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suitePosition Summary :
This position works closely with the interdisciplinary health care teams to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient's medical program goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines; managing resources in an effective manner; participating in performance improvement efforts.
