The Program Coordinator works alongside internationally renowned faculty and a diverse undergraduate student body to support economics research and education at Boston University. The coordinator works directly with faculty members and acts as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and the University. Additionally, this role oversees the day-to-day operations of the front desk area and serves as the initial contact person for the department. The coordinator also supervises the front-office student employees, conducts routine purchasing, and makes travel arrangements for guests. Furthermore, this position helps organize various departmental events, including workshops, seminars, and commencement. Finally, the Program Coordinator provides administrative support for academic programs within Economics, which includes class scheduling and coordinating the course evaluation process. Required Skills
