Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatrician, FNP, NP and/or PA to join our team. As a Pediatrician, you will provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions and illnesses.
Duties:Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of pediatric patientsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in childrenAdminister vaccinations and immunizations according to the recommended scheduleMonitor growth and development of pediatric patientsProvide guidance and counseling to parents on child care, nutrition, and overall wellnessCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patientsPerform medical procedures such as gastric lavage or inhalation therapy when necessaryDocument patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems like eClinicalworksAdhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentialityStay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine through continuing educationExperience:
Completion of a residency program in PediatricsBoard certification or eligibility for board certification in PediatricsExperience in primary care settings preferredKnowledge of clinical trials and research methodologies related to pediatrics is a plusFamiliarity with behavioral health assessment and intervention for childrenMandarin or Cantonese fluency is highly preferred.
