Prominent Asset Management firm seeks an Assistant Controller for one of their publicly traded Business Development Companies.
Responsibilities include:Lead month-end/quarterly close process, including completing a NAV package with all therelevant supporting documentation, calculating performance figures, assisting withcorporate and regulation S-X reporting.•• Review/prepare quarterly SEC filings (10Q/10K) and financial statements.• Coordinate activities between NYC & Apollo's Mumbai operations and accounting teams.• Lead preparation of quarterly board materials.Lead discussion with various vendors and third-party providers of services including subadministrators,custodians, transfer agents and valuation firms.•Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities and coordinate withadministrator and the deal team for activities.•Verify portfolio pricing to internal model and third-party sources. Supervision of third-partyvaluation firms on quarterly valuation process in concert with valuation team.•Qualified candidates should have a CPA and a mix of public and private accounting experience for publicly traded business development firms
Salary up to 190k base depending on exeprience
