Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team, providing comprehensive medical and consultative services to Federal agencies. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in occupational health and a passion for promoting workplace wellness and safety.
Responsibilities:Conduct medical assessments and examinations to evaluate employees' fitness for duty.Provide treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.Develop and implement workplace health promotion programs.Offer expert medical advice on workplace ergonomics, safety measures, and compliance with occupational health regulations.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of employee health assessments and treatments.Provide consultation and expert witness testimony regarding Federal workplace drug testing programs, ADA requests, and other occupational health matters.Collaborate with local agency management on program development, acute emergency care, and federally regulated examinations (e.g., medical surveillance, and return-to-work evaluations).Conduct hands-on examinations and render professional opinions related to work clearances and established physical qualifications.Deliver medical evaluations or short-term treatments at assigned sites, including urgent care or "sick call" clinics.Support the medical and consultative needs for Federal agencies as a surrogate medical consultant for FOHS, US Public Health Service.Demonstrate technical expertise and professionalism in high-stress situations, promoting improvement-oriented ideas and producing quality results under tight deadlines.Qualifications
Licensed physician (MD or DO) board-certified in Preventive Medicine/Occupational Medicine or a primary care specialty (e.g., Family Practice, Internal Medicine).Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an occupational clinic setting.Expert understanding of Federal safety and health regulations and experience addressing ADA requests.BLS/ACLS/AED certification required if providing direct patient care.Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, MS Access, Outlook).Advanced training in Public Health and previous experience as a medical consultant for a federal agency is desired.Proven experience with Federal workplace drug testing programs and expert witness services.Demonstrated ability to handle labor union and management issues related to occupational health.Strong written and oral communication skills and experience with various organizations representing diverse backgrounds and levels of authority.FAA flight surgeon certification or MROCC certification may be required for certain positions.Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced training in Public Health.Experience in marketing and expanding occupational health services.Previous expert witness experience.

Compensation - Min: $215,000/ Max: $235,000
This position is in the proposal stage, we are waiting to be awarded the project.
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
Benefits - This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
