Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Specialty: Outpatient Rehabilitation Pediatric Speech Pathology Job Duration: 18 months Shift: Day - 4x10 - 8 AM to 6 PM Guaranteed Hours: 37 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric SLP experience required License: Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - 1 year of Pediatric SLP experience- Outpatient experience - Flexible and quick learner- Eligibility for travel assignments Job Description: - Work in Outpatient Rehabilitation focusing on pediatric care- Treat approximately 9 patients per day- Handle cases involving development, cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, and hydrocephalus, among others- Engage in a collaborative environment with a fun, young, and dynamic team- Participate in departmental orientation and take on a limited caseload initially- Follow a block schedule from Monday to Friday with four 10-hour shifts per week- Enjoy a culture with lots of outdoor activities- Adhere to a business casual dress code with closed-toe shoes- Work exclusively in outpatient settings with no weekend or holiday requirements- Document using Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient EMR Additional Notes: - Department provides half a day for orientation and a week with limited cases - Emphasis on teamwork and enjoying a supportive workplace environment
