Trauma Level 3 FacilityKey Responsibilities:
Attend to obstetric emergencies and provide timely intervention during labor and delivery.Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic examinations.Perform deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean sections, as required, and provide immediate postpartum care.Take assigned and unassigned Emergency Dept. call for GYN and OB patientsPerform urgent and emergent gynecology consults, including surgical inventions for hospital patients.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, midwives, and anesthesiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Participate in patient education regarding prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, and general women's health.Respond promptly to obstetric and gynecologic consultations, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.Keep accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Stay updated on the latest advancements in obstetric and gynecologic medicine through continuous education and professional development.
Requirements
Board Certified/ Eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyActive OH License or IMLC in Hand RequiredABLS, BLSLow and High Risky Pregnancy, FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, Amniocentesis, Routine Delivery, Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Multiple Births, Repair of 3rd and 4th Degree Lacerations, Surgical Gynecology, Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
