Shift : Days / 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week
Length : 13 weeks

- Full range medical and surgical including liver transplant, vascular,
- No trauma, GSW, burns
UNIT DETAILS
- Full range wound and ostomy care including complex NPWT and instillation NPWT
CERTIFICATIONS
- BLS (REQUIRED)
PRESSURE ULCER STAGING (REQUIRED)
- Stage I
- Stage II
- Stage III
- Stage IV
Colostomy/Ileostomy
- Colostomy care and management Required
- Ileostomy care and management Required
Continence Therapeutic Devices (REQUIRED)
- Catheters- Management and self care teaching
- Fecal incontinence program
- Female/Male external catheters
- Urinary incontinence program
Wound/Ulcer Assessment & Management (REQUIRED)
- Neuropathic ulcer assessment
- Neuropathic ulcer management
- Peripheral arterial ulcer assessment
- Peripheral arterial ulcer management
- Pressure ulcer assessment
- Pressure ulcer management
- Venous status ulcer assessment
- Venous status ulcer management
Wound Treatments/Dressings (REQUIRED)
- Alginates
- Autolytic debriding agents
- Enzymatic Debriding Agents
- Foams
- Hydrocolloids
- Hydrogels
- Mechanical debridement
- Sharp debridement
- Silver Products
- Wet to damp dressing change
- Wound Vac Therapy
