Position SummaryThe Department of Urology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a board certified/board eligible Urologist for a full-time faculty position within the Department. This is an open-rank recruitment; academic rank will be awarded at a level commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate should be willing to participate in clinical practice and in teaching as they will serve in the training and education of fellows, residents, and medical students in the division. The individual will practice primarily at our community-based hospital nearby to Chapel Hill.

Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsMD, DO, or equivalent. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine within the state of North Carolina.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceBoard certified/board eligible urologist with sub-specialty training in Pediatric Urology. The applicant should have a demonstrated commitment to patient care and teaching at all levels. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are important.
