With over 23 programs, we offer multiple ways to aid seniors maintain their health, well-being, independence and participation in the community, fulfilling our mission.The Quality Manager ensures the highest quality of care is delivered by Institute on Aging's (IOA) On Lok PACE on site medical clinic. The quality manager will lead efforts within a regulatory framework to continuously improve patient care, health outcomes, satisfaction, and safety, while upholding best practices and achieving operational efficiencies.

The Quality Assurance Manager will report to the Sr. Director and be responsible for monitoring performance improvement data, reporting, and co-developing data-driven performance improvement projects based on daily interaction with program leadership and staff. This position will provide administrative and project support to ensure compliance with the quality improvement activities at IOA and agency wide initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this role has a background in healthcare and experience in a quality position.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Conduct quality improvement activities for the organizationLead the development and management of system-wide Quality Dashboard for the clinic. This includes data collection, tracking, analysis, and reporting of quality measures and indicators.Document and monitor all written quality improvement policies, procedures, and plans for the programOversee annual updates to the Quality Assurance Improvement Plan (QAIP) and provide ongoing support to ensure it is executed accordingly throughout the yearLead staff trainings around QI topics, including incident reportingCollect, monitor, and provide required data for reports related to oversight activities between IOA and contracted partnersAttend required meetings to report on Ql and oversight activitiesProvide program compliance oversight, monitoring, and reporting to the Leadership Team ensuring program compliance with State, Federal, and local regulations. This includes program compliance on quality indicators as outlined in contract Agreements.Adhere to sensitive timelines and deadlines for a myriad of reports and meetings.Partners with Leadership to oversee corrective action plans (CAP) and provide on-going monitoring of CAP-related activities to resolution. Tracks credentialing, on-boarding, training, and all annual requirements for center employees and on-site contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.Lead, facilitate, organize, schedule, and prepare materials for required QAIPAttend meetings including taking minutes and follow-up activities.Develop infrastructure to ensure NCQA compliance with business partners including Business Intelligence, Technology Services, and program leadership.Engage with community stakeholders & internal leaders to further develop quality metrics & support the Quality Department at IOA.Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization. This includes having a strong presence in the clinic, and participating in program operational activities, where appropriate.Use metrics to identify internal opportunities for process improvements and implement process improvements with Leadership.Coordinate and organize organization-wide client satisfaction initiatives, including client surveysDevelop quarterly monitoring of IOA client satisfaction process improvements with data elements and present to various leadership teams.All other duties as assignedEDUCATION: Required

B.A./B.S. degree

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

3+ years' experience working within quality in a managed care plan or healthcare settingPrior quality improvement experience requiredPrefer quality certification or advanced quality educationKnowledge and experience in quality improvementDemonstrated experience and strong skills around data collection, analysis, data visualization/Tableau reporting, and dashboard creationStrong technical skills surrounding electronic health records, data reporting and presentationStrong organizational skills and ability to track information quicklyDemonstrated written and oral communication skillsStrong follow-through and proactive thinking skillEase, flexibility, and resourcefulness working on front-line, interdisciplinary teamsProficiency in information systems: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPointAbility to structure and conduct audits and chart reviewsInstitute on Aging reserves the right to revise job descriptions or work hours as required.

Compensation

Range:

$ 92,976.00 - $ 117,000.00/annual

This amount is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on actual experience, education and other factors.

This range does not include any additional equity, benefits, or other non-monetary compensation which may be included.
