You will assist the project team with proposal preparations, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contract activities. You will also be examining estimates of material, equipment services, project costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. You’ll direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors and assists in all phases of the construction project. You’ll be responsible for the progress and final estimates throughout the construction project duration. You’ll be preparing bids, specifications, and other reports, advising management and project personnel of contractual rights and obligations. You’ll receive general instructions regarding assignments, and you’ll be expected to exercise initiative and independent judgement in the solution work problems.

• CE Degree plus 2 years of engineering experience -OR- 8 years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II
• FDOT Advanced MOT
