Our team of experienced attorneys is committed to providing vigorous representation to labor unions and employees in pursuit of justice and equitable treatment. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Plaintiff-Side Union Labor Attorney to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Plaintiff-Side Union Labor Attorney, you will represent labor unions and employees in various labor and employment-related disputes. You will handle a diverse caseload involving collective bargaining, contract negotiations, labor disputes, and employment discrimination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, a commitment to advocating for workers’ rights, and exceptional legal skills.
Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in negotiations, arbitration, and litigation involving labor disputes, collective bargaining agreements, and employment issues.Advise and counsel union representatives and employees on legal rights and strategies related to labor law and employment matters.Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.Conduct legal research and stay updated on current labor laws and regulations.Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to develop and execute legal strategies.Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service.Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in AL.Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor law, with a focus on representing unions and employees.Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and related regulations.Proven track record of handling complex labor disputes and employment cases.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with public sector labor law and union representation.Familiarity with grievance and arbitration procedures.Previous experience in a plaintiff-side labor law firm or similar setting.What We Offer:
