Overview
Title:Program Coordinator
Location:Lebanon Corps
Reports To:Corps Officer
Availability: Immediate
Schedule: Full-Time; Mon- Friday, 8am-4:30, Must be able to work nights and weekends, as necessary
Salary and Grade: $14.50/hr; 73 Non-Exempt

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Program Coordinator (PC) supports the Corps Officer in planning, directing, and managing community programs, including, but not limited to, the food pantry, senior box distribution, after-school programs, day camps, and youth programs.
Description of Position:
Assist in planning and coordinating Salvation Army programs
Manage the client choice pantry: order food, stock pantry, handle donations, and maintain records.
Oversee daily social services operations: thrift store vouchers, clothing room, client relations, and volunteer paperwork.
Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions, when needed.
Operate Salvation Army vehicles for pick-ups and drop-offs as needed.
Maintain First Aid supplies.
Performs additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
A high school graduate; a bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Bilingual – Spanish/English
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
Experience with diverse populations
Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire
Valid Driver's License and insurance clearance
As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.
Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check.
Must possess an appreciation for and support the mission of The Salvation Army.
