Team & Role Impact:

As an innovative and fast-growing company with global operations, the purpose of this role is to lead the global FP&A function and partner with senior leaders to develop and execute the corporate strategy. Keys to success for this role include extensive expertise in leading a global FP&A function, the ability to develop strategies and champion enterprise-wide initiatives, possess a broad view of the operating environment and exercising sound judgment in leading others through change, a role model for the Saluda values and proven track record building high performing teams including being hands-on to understand and build the team as the organization scales. This role will report to the VP Finance and work closely with the global finance team and the US based leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

Own the corporate financial model and seek to continuously improve the insight and value provided by the model. This includes owning the process to refresh, reflecting changes in the operating environment, business strategies and competitive landscape, and communicating the model to internal and external stakeholders.Own the budgeting process, including setting targets with the executive team and collaborating with business leaders to develop plans that deliver on the targets.Own the forecast process, monitoring performance against targets, updating forecasts, and managing business sensitivities, risks and opportunities in achieving the target.Own the management reporting including developing and distributing KPI dashboards, automating data and reporting while promptly addressing material changes in outlook.Conduct scenario analysis, modelling business scenarios and developing contingency plans to navigate changes in market conditions.Maintain accurate financial records in relevant systems throughout budget and reforecast processes.Business Partnering:

Support the VP Finance in partnering with the leadership teams to deliver on the financial plans including setting and tracking operational targets, developing business cases and providing decision making support across the enterprise.Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders and the finance business partners in gaining a deep understanding of the business strategy, operations, risks, and controls.Lead the finance business partners to develop and implement strategic, operational, and financial plans, responding effectively to changes in outlooks and circumstances for their respective business unitsAnalyse revenue and cost drivers, operating expenses, and cash trends; work with business unit finance teams to ensure spending aligns with targets and develop action plans to achieve target.Financial Performance Reporting and Management:

Own, operate and continuously improve the financial performance management processes, reports and KPI's to enable achievement of Saluda's corporate goals.Own the delivery of accurate monthly results, forecast and budget pack as well as oversight and distribution of KPI dashboards to internal and external stakeholders.Own the month end FP&A processes to ensure they are relevant, accurate and timely to meet our corporate reporting requirements.Own the development and delivery of the FP&A reporting roadmap capabilities and finance technologies, including being the SME for the group BI and planning tools.Maintaining an Effective Internal Control Environment

Together with the financial accounting team, ensuring an effective internal control environment across the enterprise to ensure integrity of the financial information.Champion understanding of the financial policies across the business and maintaining good internal control practices.Ensuring accountable financial policies and internal controls are relevant, up to date, and monitored for compliance. Support financial audits and assessments of the control environment as required, maintain the integrity of data, and continuously improving the quality of financial information.Functional Leadership and Management

Lead the way by modelling the Saluda Values. Demonstrating enthusiasm and facilitating the development of a positive, results driven cultureLead and build a high performing team across the FP&A team, including developing goals and providing feedback, mentor and coach, building career paths and talent pipelines.Represent Finance in various forums across the business as required.Key Requirements:

Extensive expertise in leading a global FP&A function including corporate modelling, AOP/forecasts, management/KPI reporting in a global/multi region environment.Outstanding business partnering experience, gaining trust with executive leaders by demonstrating a broad view of the operating environment, being strategically minded and ability to exercise sound judgment to lead others through change.Professional Accounting or Finance Qualifications (Chartered, CPA or equivalent).10+ years senior FP&A leadership experience in a multinational organization.Extensive knowledge of commercial sales teams, R&D projects and portfolio management and supply chain/manufacturing operations.Extensive experience with sales and market models, project accounting and cost-accountingExcellent communication and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint skillsAdvanced Corporate Modelling Skills in MS Excel, BI/Planning tools (e.g. WD/Hyperion), ERP (eg QAD or similar), and attention to detail and quality.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams, build strong cross-functional relationships, and collaborate to drive process excellence.Ability to develop strategies and champion enterprise-wide initiatives.Willingness to step in with a hands-on approach to tasks; recognizing the need to build structure to support strategic aspirations while ensuring ongoing operational deliveryRole model for the Saluda values and proven track record building high performing teams.
