Position Description:

The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), seek (4) Neonatology board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Community Neonatology practice to Bellin Health System's NICU in Green Bay, WI.

Opportunity Highlights

• Positions are available at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, where we offer care within a newly constructed, state-of-the-art Level III NICU. This facility features a 15-bed unit designed for high-risk labor and delivery services, integrated with family-centered care principles.

• The NICU operates around the clock, staffed by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and is supported by a comprehensive transport system that facilitates the transfer of patients from smaller hospitals, along with a follow-up clinic to ensure continuity of care.

• Our division encompasses 25 neonatologists, with expertise distributed across a Level IV NICU in Milwaukee and a Level III NICU in Neenah, situated in the Fox Valley Region of Northeast Wisconsin.

• We are a distinguished group of faculty and staff, renowned both nationally and internationally, dedicated to excellence in patient care and the advancement of academic neonatology.

About Children's Wisconsin

Children's Wisconsin is an independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. The hospital, with locations in Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin, is recognized as one of the leading pediatric health care centers in the United States. Children's Wisconsin provides primary care, urgent care, emergency care, specialty care, mental and behavioral health services, community health services, foster and adoption services, child advocacy services and health insurance plans. Each year, the Children's Wisconsin team has more than 6.5 million touchpoints with kids and families through medical care, advocacy, research and education. In Northeast Wisconsin, Children's Wisconsin is expanding its services to provide increased access to outstanding pediatric subspecialty care. This includes a pediatric hospital, with a Pediatric Unit, Level III NICU and Infusion Center, which is located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. A multispecialty pediatric ambulatory clinic with on-site laboratory and radiology services opened in Appleton, Wis. in 2023.

This position is located in Northeast Wisconsin as part of an innovative collaboration between Children's Wisconsin, Bellin Health and ThedaCare . These top-quality health care organizations are partnering to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents in Northeast and Central Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, through joint venture called Connected for Kids . This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers at these organizations to improve patient outcomes. The connection between the organizations helps position our physicians to successfully support the needs of patients and their families.
