Job Description
Essential Functions
Provides leadership to compensation and benefits team members
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations
Oversees FMLA and ADA processes, leading team to ensure applicable regulations and policies are administered.
Works closely with vendors and employees, ensuring communication and support for all objectives
Makes recommendations on compensation changes after careful review and analysis
Ensure all leave of absence are administered in accordance with applicable regulations and policies, including Family Medical, and Personal Leave.
Provides guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and compensations practices, providing leadership training and support as necessary
Oversees compensation processes, including job evaluations, salary structure recommendations, merit and market adjustments. Managements benefit planning and programs
Supports retirement committee and plan administration
Serves as a member of the HR leadership team and be asked to support other HR leadership and staff functions to ensure department success

May have responsibility in departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
Performs other duties as requested by primary manager that do not compromise moral code of conduct or protocols set in place for patient or employee safety

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar or equivalent of four (4) to six (6) years of experience
Minimum Education Preferred
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR designation
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional)
CBP (Certified Benefits Professional
Minimum Experience Required
Three (3) years of Human Resources experience in compensation and managing benefits programs or HR Generalist area
Minimum Experience Preferred
Experience in a hospital setting
Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Ability to utilize intranet/internet and e-mail
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of various educational levels via written and verbal formats
Ability to utilize the personal computer in windows format
Possess the ability to speak publicly representing the hospital and promoting a positive image
Ability to utilize standard office equipment e.g., copy machine, fax machine, multiple phone lines, personal computer and printer to perform necessary job duties
Performs complex tasks typically following established processes
Demonstrates commitment to organizations five (5) priorities and Six Ground Rules
