Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensureCurrent CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red CrossAssociate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into positionPediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into positionPreferred :
Baccalaureate Degree or higher in NursingPrevious ICU experience preferredGeneral Summary :
Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
