The Director of Finance (DOF) will work closely with the Controllers and their teams to maintain oversight of day-to-day accounting including cash management, financial budgeting, financial reporting, month-end transactions, and other various banking requirements. The DOF will also work with the CFO and other executive leadership to communicate and positively impact the company's financial performance. This role will provide leadership and expertise, for all of our facilities including Cincinnati, OH; Grand Rapids, MI and Hingham, MA, that sets the tone for strong focus on Project Accounting including projects involving capital equipment manufacturing, project costing as it relates to production of capital equipment and inventory.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities (Job-Specific Knowledge/Skills)

Work with the CFO on any financial legal related issues or concernsSupervise accounting staff and their functions such as AP, AR, GL, bankingManage the accounting function including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, master data entry for customers and vendors, employee expenses, sales and local tax filing and reports, 401K, workers comp, time management system, and corporate assets.Month-end closing for WNA and provide timely financial reports to Executive Management as well as German HQProvide accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to support strategic goalsPrepare and analyze financial reports and general ledger accounts monthly, quarterly, and annuallyEstablish and monitor KPI's that reflect the progress on company and profit center goalsAnalyze operations to evaluate performance of the company in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction/savings to improve the company's EBITControlling the flow of raw materials, tool and other assets in the manufacturing departmentCoordinate and prepare annual and quarterly budgets for the Profit/Loss Statements, Balance Sheet, and Capital equipmentReview all revenues, product cost, and expenses for reasonableness and investigate/account for deviations from budgetsProvide financial presentations to management staff explaining P&L reportWork with Human Resource department on coordination of annual health benefit costs analysis as neededCoordinate and assist in any required financial audits or special projects as neededAnalyze and improve processes within the department / across departments
