Position Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for data entry, ensuring correctness and completeness for Pharmacy Intervention Database.Assist clinical pharmacist in data collection for drug use evaluations and for medication use indicators for hospitalized patients (drug level monitoring, serum creatinine monitoring, etc.).Assist in the collection of adverse drug event data by using pharmaceutical knowledge to determine the relationship of adverse symptoms to a suspected pharmaceutical product.Assist clinical pharmacist in clinic duties such as contacting patient and health care professionals via phone, entry of information into patient databases, chart review, laboratory collection and analysis.Assist in the preparation of educational materials for patients and health care professionals.Coordinate group visits (scheduling patients, reserve required conference/classroom space or equipment, obtain needed equipment, patient check-in).Minimum Qualifications:

Successful completion of a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program or American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)/Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) pharmacy technician education and training program. Formal medical services training programs offered by the United States Military are also accepted.One year of experience as a pharmacy technician after graduation.Active national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health career Association (NHA).Must be a US Citizen.Potomac Healthcare Solutions offers the following benefits:
