Job SummaryThe Program Coordinator for the Institutional Advancement Core ("IA Core") plays a pivotal role in driving the success of special projects, administration of strategic priorities, and coordination of a spectrum of operational and administrative tasks. Responsibilities of this role include serving as a key asset and partner in coordinating initiatives across multiple IA departments, business units, and teams including:Communications, Marketing, and Public AffairsDevelopment and Alumni RelationsTechnology DevelopmentCorporate and Community RelationsGovernment Affairs and Policy

This position is critical in ensuring operational excellence, successfully executing an array of cross-functional projects, fostering collaboration among teams, and optimizing efficiency in our shared support framework. Recognized as the #1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth for seven consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report, we invite you to be a part of the UT Southwestern team where you'll discover teamwork, professionalism, and consistent opportunities for growth.Required Experience and EducationBachelor degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field, and at least five (5) years experience in appropriate field required.May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.Job DutiesAnalyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.Develops or oversees development of budget for program.Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.Plans and coordinates special events.Participates in conferences.Presents data and program information.Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.May provide supervision to staff members.Performs other duties as assigned.
