Curbco is seeking a full-time experienced CONTROLLER to join our team.
For over 28 years Curbco, Inc. has specialized in facilities maintenance for commercial, municipal and industrial properties. Services include Construction & Pavement, Sweeping & Power-Washing, Landscape & Horticulture, Snow & Ice Services and Storm Water Management & Soil Erosion. Position Summary:
Oversight of entire company operations & systems. Manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance. Responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial data to make informed financial decisions. Accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records.
Responsibilities for this position will include the following:
Collecting and consolidating financial data for multiple companiesSupervising accounting and finance departmentsCreating strategic plans for financial operationsPreparing internal and external financial statementsEnsuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulationsCoordinating external auditor activitiesProviding company leaders with insights for decision-making purposesManaging budgeting and forecasting processesCoordinate procurement activitiesEstablish and maintain financial controlsAssess and improve accounting proceduresIdentify, develop, and monitor KPIsManage regulatory reportingScreen, hire, train, and retain accounting department employees
Position Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' applicable experienceMust be highly proficient using Microsoft Office specifically ExcelHigh proficiency using QuickBooksCertifications while not required, are a plus - CPA, CFA, CTP
