Student loan repayment program$500 individual and $1,000 family deductiblesA dedicated direct primary care medical team for Spooner employeesLow premiumsDental, vision, life, and other voluntary insurancesPaid time off and holiday payGenerous continuing education funds401(k) matchingEmployee Assistance ProgramMany other benefits to help keep you happy and healthyWhat You'll Be Doing Be a core member of the treatment team and ensure an exceptional patient experience.Utilize a dynamic and functional approach to help patients overcome functional limitations related to musculoskeletal conditions.Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to help patients move and feel their bestTake a whole-body approach to locate the source of a patient's injury, pain, or dysfunction.Communicate with the Therapist to ensure accurate interpretation of a patients plan of care and instructions for the rehabilitative program.Comply with insurance authorization guidelines as directed by the Therapist.Report on patients' status and progress, to include but not limited to, performing measurements, making clinical observations and gathering supplementary information provided by the patient.Consider individual patient treatment goals and activities based on the Therapists evaluation of patient data and demographics.Administer treatment to improve and maintain medically necessary and appropriate intervention evaluates its effects.Communicate with the Therapist and provide direction to the physical therapy technician appropriately for assistance in completion of patient care.Maintain patient records in accordance with State and Federal guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and company policies.Take proactive measures to follow and remain current on professional documentation and reimbursement guidelines.What You Can Expect A company and clinic team environment that fosters continuous learning and fun.A year-long onboarding program with structured mentorship.Internal education opportunities and a generous continuing education benefit.Learning from nationally and internationally recognized physical therapists, occupational therapists, performance coaches, and athletic trainers.Encouragement to develop your professional career and treat the communities you want to treat.What You Bring to the Role Exceptional patient experiences as a primary musculoskeletal care provider.Excitement to grow as a physical therapist assistant and collaborate with fellow clinicians.A passion to elevate the physical therapy profession.A commitment to Spooner's mind, body, and spirit treatment philosophy.Current licensure as a PTA or graduate of CAPTA accredited physical therapy institution.About Spooner Spooner is a place for therapists with a growth mindset who want to push themselves to achieve excellence.
