The University of Missouri-Columbia, Karl D. Nolph, MD Division of Nephrology is seeking a full-time nephrologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The all-track Nephrologist position being requested is for a board-certified or board-eligible Nephrology specialist, who will fulfill clinical services on the nephrology inpatient consults, nephrology outpatient clinic, outreach clinics, and dialysis outpatient rounding. In addition, this position will have the opportunity to engage in scholarly activities and medical education. This individual will have significant interactions with students, residents, and fellows, both in terms of didactic lectures and bedside clinical education.
Job Details:Our team of 13 clinical faculty and 2 APPs, serve University Hospital and 4 outreach renal clinicsAnticipated effort distribution is 90% patient care, and 10% teaching/scholarly activity.
Flexibility is available for those seeking more time dedicated to scholarly activity if extramurally funded.We have ample opportunities for teaching and collaboration with other disciplines along with clinical and basic research within and outside of the institution.
