POSITION: LTS Speech and Language Therapist
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Long Term Substitute (approx May23, 2024- October 25, 2024)
QUALIFICATIONS:• PDE Speech & Language Certification• Experience in K-12 Speech is preferred• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.• Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:• Support Students who receive speech services as defined in their IEP.• Complete and manage all paperwork/timelines accurately, timely and collaboratively with the IEP team.• Participate in the MTSS/RTII process when appropriate.• Complete and maintain ACCESS and session logs for caseload.• Attend District training sessions.
PREEMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
