Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Description:The Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be a licensed professional responsible for the operation and performance of medical imaging practices to the patient during IR procedures.
Responsibilities for an Interventional Rad Tech:Interpret various medical imaging modalities for accurate diagnosis of patient conditions during IR procedures.Collaborate with medical specialists to provide expert insights and recommendations for patient care based on imaging findings.Maintain high-quality imaging standards, implement protocols, and ensure radiation safety measures are followed.Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent and AAS degree in an accredited radiology program
requiredBachelor's degree in Medical Radiology
preferredTexas State LicensureCurrent BLS CertificationCurrent ARRT CertificationMedical Radiographer License
