BID DUE DATE: FIRST TO FILL!Mercy General Hospital (Dignity Health Medical Foundation) is looking for In-House OB/GYN coverage, primarily for no-doc patients who present to, or were admitted from, our ED. Emergency Management of patients already on the unit if being managed by a community OB/GYN.***CANDIDATES WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE SITE AS THEY COME IN!***Dates of Coverage (Providers MUST be available for one or all of these dates in order to be considered):Feb 5 - 7a-7pFeb 12 - 7a-7pFeb 14 - 7a-7pFeb 15 - 7a-7pFeb 24 - 7p-7aShift Times: 7am to 7pm 7pm to 7am 7am to 7amDuties:Feb 5 start, ongoing7a-7p, 7p-7a & 24 hour (7a-7a)INPATIENT ONLYBetween 60-75 deliveries/monthSupport Staff- Unit RNs, AnesthesiaDuties- Labor and Delivery, Gyn consultations and management of Gyn emergencies.Required Procedures: C-Section, hysterectomy, ovarian detorsion, amongst others.EMR: CernerReasons for coverage: Incomplete OB Hospitalist program staffing.Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: Admissions per day: 3Patients/day: 3Types of cases: NSVD, LTCS, Gyn emergenciesFirst day info/orientation: Would need to be here the day before, 4/26, for orientation (partial day)Credentialing Information:Timeframe: At least one week for emergency privileges, then credentialing through DHMF for future datesRequirements: Internally credentialed with locum agencyCredentialing with other facilities? Provider will need to credential with DHMF for future coverage while working through the hospital for urgent dates.Billing enrollment - NoTravel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: None RATES: Malpractice rates - Must be included in the rates.
