RN - Part-Time - Benefit Eligible - Float Team

Christie Clinic's Float department is seeking a part-time(20 hours/week) RN(Quarterly Bonuses Available) between the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements.Duties include the provision of professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Ability to travel to satellite locations to cover departmental needs with reimbursement for mileage and travel time (per IRS guidelines). The float department travels up-to a 60-mile radius of Champaign, Illinois and has quarterly bonus eligibibilty for team members in good standing after 6 months of employment.Candidates must possess (or in the process of obtaining) an Illinois State Nursing License and CPR. Professional nursing experience is preferred.Responsibilities:Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with nursing standards and as directed by provider. Prepare equipment and aid provider during treatment, examination and/or testing of the patient. Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to medication and/or treatment to provider. Act as a liaison between the patient and provider regarding complaints, concerns, etc.Instruct patient and family regarding medication, treatment instructions and patient education.Demonstrate the ability to respond to triage calls using nursing assessment.Maintain and update patient medical record upon visit.
