Registered Nurse candidates for the Labor and Delivery Department will have the following job responsibilities:The RN has the responsibility to, plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the labor, delivery, and recovery patient in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.They ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care to maintain compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.The RN cares for all ages from adolescents to middle adults.JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse candidates for the Labor and Delivery Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education

Accredited School of Nursing Required: NursingBachelor's Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Science in NursingPreferred: Specialty certificationExperience

Minimum of 1 year Required: clinical experience as a Staff Nurse or will orient to point of competency.Labor/Delivery/Post-Partum/Newborn nursing experience preferred or will orient to point of competency.Credentials

Required: Registered NurseRequired Upon Hire: Basic Life SupportRequired: ACLS at date of hire or within six monthsRequired: NRP at date of hire or within 6 monthsRequired: Electronic Fetal Monitoring course required within six monthsPreferred: STABLE certification

Base Salary - USD $71,539 to $125,712
