Qualifications for a Mammographer:Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.Current certification in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a radiologic technologist in Washington, DC.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.Responsibilities for a Mammographer:
Position patients for mammography procedures, ensuring correct alignment for precise imaging.Utilize mammography equipment to produce high-quality images of breast tissue.Work alongside radiologists to guarantee accurate interpretation of mammogram results.Educate and support patients throughout the mammography process.Job Benefits for a Mammographer:
