What You'll Do Partner with the Leadership teams to develop actionable HR plans to support the business growth strategy. Manage the performance management process. Implement initiatives to improve talent & performance management processes to enable a performance-driven culture. Provide ongoing coaching and training to employees and managers where needed. With the VP HR support, advise leadership on the development of employee engagement strategies. Identify risks of employee attrition and make recommendations to address issues. Coach managers and leadership to ensure the right organization is in place to deliver on business needs. With the VP HR support, identify talent and succession gaps and create plans that accelerate the development of the talent base and supports succession for key roles. Oversee recruitment activities & staffing planning processes. Manage new employee orientation and onboarding processes. Assure effective HR policies are in place to ensure expectations for employees are well understood. Ensure the business complies with HR legal and compliance requirements in each country and in the Electronics business, in coordination with the VP HR. Establish and maintain excellent communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction. Manage and administer compensation programs for salaried and hourly employees, including salary surveys, salary planning and variable compensation programs. Identify training needs for business units and coaching needs for individuals. Ensure training objectives are met. Develop and implement supervisory training and talent development programs for each site. Coach leaders and employees regarding complex employee relations concerns and provide interpretation and explanation of current company policies and procedures. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Be the champion who drives, within the assigned Region perimeter, key global Electronics initiatives, in strong partnership with the Electronics Leadership Team and Senior HR Business Partners. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations in the sites within the country perimeter, timely response, and follow-up of any incidents of harassment, discrimination, accidents, and other employment-related matters. Drive appropriate organizational structure alignment and execute according to change management principles including understanding current state vs desired outcome, effective preparation, communication plan to gain support, executing vision, developing metrics to measure success, and reviewing the effectiveness of the strategy. Present continuous improvement proposals, employment offers, performance evaluations, disciplinary reviews, investigative reports, and severance documentation. Collaborate with the Corporate Human Resources Operations Team to support the implementation and ongoing support of global talent initiatives and processes What You'll Bring 8 years of progressive generalist HR experience in a mid-sized manufacturing company or adjacent industry. Ability to travel regularly to various Standex sites; anticipated travel is 10-15% Previous experience managing people at various locations preferred Hands-on experience in implementing Talent Management best practices to attract, engage and develop talent to support current and future business needs. Proficient in MS Office. Strong understanding and experience in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
