Associate Director - Data Strategy
The Fitch Group Chief Data Office is currently seeking an Associate Director of Data Strategy based out of our New York or London office.
The Fitch Group Chief Data Office (CDO) works with business units across the Fitch enterprise to meet their end-to-end requirements for timely, high quality data. We are recruiting for an Associate Director of Data Strategy within the Data Strategy team, who will partner with stakeholders across Fitch Group to source and deliver fit-for-purpose datasets to power growth and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to senior business leaders across the Fitch organization, as a trusted expert in mission-critical data sources and access points, while building the following expertise:Data solutions design thinkingFinancial data domain knowledge in multiple categoriesData acquisition & rights managementStakeholder needs assessment and deliveryWe'll Count on You To:
Work with stakeholders across Fitch Group, with a particular focus within the Fitch Ratings division, to build connected end-to-end data strategies using advanced pattern recognition skillsServe as an internal "data discovery" consultant to business groups across Fitch, building an advanced knowledge of proprietary and third-party datasetsMaster a range of data licensing concepts in collaboration with colleagues in Fitch Legal and Procurement divisions and develop senior-level relationships with third-party data providersWhat You Need to Have:
3-5 years of experience working with financial data, either at a data vendor or within a financial services companyDemonstrated experience leading successful business initiatives which require senior stakeholder engagement and coordination across functionsA working knowledge of fixed income capital markets issuanceWhat Would Make You Stand Out:
Experience with negotiation of data contractsFamiliarity with credit rating agency products and servicesProficiency with data management / data governance software systems (as a business user)

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY:
Expected base pay salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
