Adelphi is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide services at a facility in Woodbury, New Jersey. Notify the Facility Administrator or Director of Nursing of any changes in services affecting residents, including but not limited to changes in the Psychiatrist. Evaluate all new admissions with psychiatric diagnoses or on psychiatric medications. Conduct annual evaluations for residents diagnosed with psychiatric conditions, Alzheimer's, or dementia. Coordinate with the administration to arrange coverage during vacations as needed. Provide grief counseling for residents and staff on an as-needed basis. Schedule services at least once per month. Work towards achieving the lowest effective medication dosage, documenting attempts to titrate medications twice a year, along with reasons for not titrating when applicable.
