The University of Chicago\'s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a full-time Assistant Professor. The appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, including teaching and supervising trainees and medical students. Compensation (including a generous fringe benefits package) is dependent upon qualifications.

The appointee will devote their clinical, academic and administrative time equally between the UCM Hyde Park campus and the Ingalls Memorial Hospital (IMH), including associated off-site locations. Additionally, the appointee will work with the IMH Section Chief, the Biological Sciences Division Chief of Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery, and the BSD Director of the Gynecology Service in restructuring and organizing the clinical care and management of gynecologic patients at IMH. Together with IMH Section Chief, the appointee will be responsible for successful implementation of the IMH\'s Women\'s Health strategic plan as it pertains to clinical care of gynecologic patients and accomplishing the overall IMH clinical mission.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

We especially welcome applicants with training and experience in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, care of acute setting gynecologic patients, office gynecology, and resident or medical student teaching.
