OverviewTHE PRACTICE:
We have an open position for a Medical Optometrist to join one of the most progressive, fastest- growing comprehensive eye care practices in central Florida at our location in The Villages. We’re seeking a qualified candidate who is interested in having a medical, optical, and primary care optometry practice.
This is an opportunity to join Mid Florida Eye Center, a leader in comprehensive eye care. Our mission is to provide quality care in a multi-specialty setting using some of the industry’s most advanced technology in our state-of-the art office space.
Our knowledgeable team of doctors and staff are committed to making the needs of the patient a priority and providing services to the highest level of satisfaction.
We are a 10-physician group (providing optometric care, retina surgery, glaucoma, cornea, oculoplastic, refractive and comprehensive anterior segment ophthalmology services).
Enjoy an outstanding and attractive compensation model offering very competitive income and quality of life. This is a full time, salaried, exempt, position. You’ll have a guaranteed base, lucrative upside financial potential via quarterly production bonuses, full comprehensive benefits package, paid relocation, as well previously
proven upside income potential over $200K per year.

This is in our location in The Villages.
The area offers a very affordable cost of living, highly rated school systems, and a wonderful quality of life. Our practice has offices in The Villages, Leesburg Mt. Dora, and other northern Greater Orlando metropolitan statistical area locations. Some of our physicians live in the Winter Park area.
With over 2 million people this vibrant metro is full of amenities, while living in the proximal suburbs allows for excellent access to nature, acreage and less congestion. The US Census ranked the The Villages as the fastest growing U.S. city two years in a row.

ResponsibilitiesFull time medical and optical Optometrist.
Manage chronic disease, provide primary eye care, co-manage patients with ophthalmologists, perform post-ops, etc.
QualificationsDoctor of Optometry. O.D. Degree. Florida O.D. license.
