New Increased Wages401K Retirement Plan with Company MatchFree On-Site ParkingPoint-earning employee reward program: Redeem for Prizes!Pharmacy Tech Data Entry Position Overview:The purpose of the Pharmacy Tech Data Entry role is to complete the initial data entry of prescriptions into the Pharmacy operating system to be reviewed and approved by a pharmacist and provide administrative support to the billing department by processing and resolving pharmacy claims based on pharmacy delivery schedules, adding in insurance, tracking prior authorizations, and processing returned medications. This role is also responsible for facilitating problem resolution by contacting clients' insurance company, doctor office, and/or nursing facility along with answering and triage incoming calls into the department.Shift : 1p.m.- 9p.m.Join Our Team

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Data Entry Technician Responsibilities:Enter prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system for pharmacist approval.Answer and triage incoming phone calls in the department.Process prescription refill request from facilities.Make calls to the facilities regarding medication inquires.Reviews and investigates rejected third party claims; resolves/adjudicates as deemed necessary.Reviews and establishes cycle fill batch claims from automatic dispensing machines per schedule forall assigned locations.Prepares and processes third party prior authorization forms and follow-up as necessary.Processes credits and returns.Provides superior customer service.Utilizes electronic timekeeping system as directed.Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled.Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including wearing name tag at all times.Follows policy and procedure regarding all electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Data Entry Technician Qualifications:Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred3 years' of Pharmacy Technician Data Entry experience in long term care, retail hospitalsetting required, 5 years of experience preferred3 years' experience in pharmacy/third party billing, experience preferredExperience in long term care billing preferredAbility to answer multiple phone linesDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs includingExcel, Word and OutlookPrior experience working with third party payors a plusSkills/Competencies:Exceptional time management skillsData Entry skillsHighly organized with attention to detailProblem solverAbility to work autonomously as well as in a team settingSelf-motivatedExcellent customer service skillsExcellent telephone communication skillsThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
