Providing medical care to animals in an urgent care settingDiagnosing and treating illnesses and injuriesPrescribing medications and treatmentsPerforming surgeryMaintaining patient recordsCommunicating with clients about their pets' healthQualifications for the position include:
DVM degree from an accredited veterinary schoolAt least 2 years of experience in urgent care medicineStrong clinical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
