Location: Bronx, Brooklyn, ManhattanTime Commitment: Flexible, including weekends and weekdaysTimeframe: 5 hours per day or per weekDuration: OngoingPosition Overview : We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to join our outreach team and help make a positive impact in our community. As a Farmer’s Market Volunteer, you will assist with distributing program flyers within the farmer’s market area.Key Responsibilities:Conduct street outreach by distributing program flyers to local businesses, community-based organizations, health clinics, customers, and community members.Promote the Over-The-Counter (OTC) benefits program.Support general market operations as needed.Qualifications:Passion for healthy eating, local agriculture, and community engagement.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a regular volunteer schedule.Volunteers must be 18 years or older to participateBenefits:Opportunity to make a difference in the community by supporting local farmers and promoting healthy eating.Gain experience in agriculture, and community outreach.Meet new people and be part of a passionate and dedicated team.How to Apply:
