Schedule: Part Time

General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting.

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a part-timeInternistfor their Dover practice in suburban/rural York County. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine. He or she must also be Board Certified/Board Eligible.

Position Highlights:

Join a collegial team within an outpatient primary care setting

3 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner

Long-term staff with low turnover

Great hours: Mon 10a-7p, Tues 8a - 5p and Fri 8a - 3p

Practice is a Top 10 Recommended Practice via Press-Ganey survey

Providers Quality numbers are consistently above the medical group goal

Patient population: mix of young, middle-aged adults and seniors

WellSpan now utilizesDAX - Dragon Ambient experience.DAX is an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note into the EPIC EHR for the provider

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required
