Position Summary:

The

Speech Language Pathologist

specializing in Acute care :Provides medically prescribed services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, minimize disability following disease, or injury, and to assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her disability.The job duties are to provide assessments and treatment activities with patients.Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.Contact with external contacts involves providing or getting factual information.Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.Education:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist requiredCertificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.Current CPR certification.Experience:

Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical FellowshipExperience in an Acute care rehab setting required

Salary Range: Minimum 35.93 per visit - Maximum 59.32 per visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
