Job Summary:
The Director of Information Technology plays a pivotal role in shaping our IT strategy, overseeing vendor relationships, and managing assigned internal IT staff. Planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and administering the agency's technological assets, relationships, and systems to optimize performance, user experience, integration, security, and efficiency. You will collaborate with the CIO to drive technology initiatives across the agency. This role is crucial in ensuring Gndara's seamless operation and IT needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees relationships with third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and other technology vendors. Ensures vendor performance is meeting or exceeding agreed-upon service levels and negotiate contracts to optimize value.Implements and maintains robust IT security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. Protect the company's data and assets from cyber threats.Oversees IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.Identifies and mitigates IT-related risks that could impact the agency's operations. Develops and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Work with CIO to keep Policy and Procedure documentation up to date.Led IT department operations and projects and managed end-to-end IT services.Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, phone systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.Develop and manage detailed launch plans, including roles, responsibilities, and milestones.Provide subject matter expertise in Office 365 and Microsoft Azure with an emphasis on security (Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) policies for Office 365, Azure AD Identity Protection, Conditional Access (CA), Azure Information Protection, and Office365.The focus will be on O365/Azure AD cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and security to leverage corporate identity, network connectivity, and device type to improve employee productivity.Administer and support Office 365 suite configurations, policies and analyze, troubleshoot, and deliver Microsoft Cloud solutions on Azure and Office 365 platforms.Service Health monitoring using Office 365 console and actively respond based on system alerts and notification.Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of management level or higher experienceExperience and knowledge of Office 365/Azure AD architecture and administration's best practice recommendations with a strong understanding of Information Security, Legal, and regulatory/compliance controls required for cloud environments.Subject matter expertise in Office 365 and Microsoft Azure with an emphasis on security (Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) policies for Office 365, Azure AD Identity Protection, Conditional Access (CA), Azure Information Protection, and Office365 Message Encryption), architectural design, migration management and support of large-scale implementationsIn-depth knowledge of Authorization & Authentication in Microsoft hybrid environment and experience with Azure AD including Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)3 + years of experience in Azure and O365 services, including Exchange Online, Azure Security and Compliance, and Intune.Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022)Knowledge of Azure and O365 application and infrastructure architecturePractical and in-depth understanding of networking principlesExperience using PowerShell to manage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers and Microsoft 365 environments.
