Working under the direction of a Regional Lead Senior Coordinator and reporting to the VDC Manager, you will
Provide BIM modeling, Design support, Coordination, and Field Team support during the planning, design, and construction phases for all project typesPerform BIM modeling of electrical systems, from construction documents, for the purpose of space management and coordination with other MEP trades and Design TeamPrepare and revise Electrical installation models in Revit with minimal supervision and make sure all drawings adhere to department standards and proceduresPrepare electrical model content following electrical code and department standardsCollaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines through BIM coordination meeting attendanceDevelop 2D Shop Drawings from Revit models for Field Team installationDemonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting RelationshipsWhat You Will Bring
In addition to being detail oriented and an effective multi-tasker, you will
Have 3+ years of industry experience in modeling AEC building systemsHave 3+ years of experience with MEP Coordination using RevitPreferably, have 1-3 years of electrical BIM experienceBring knowledge of Autodesk software (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Point Layout, BIM 360, AutoCAD).Possess a High School Diploma or GED, and preferably, an associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology or related fieldHave BIM / VDC experience coordinating with MEP ContractorsDemonstrate superior communication skillsWork well in a project team environment, as well as have the capacity to conduct work with minimal supervision or oversight
