***This position is Remote***Job SummaryThis position is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating individuals on a team with a Henry Schein One Business Unit. Achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of projects that provide exceptional business value. Manage one or more concurrent and highly visible projects in a fast-paced environment.What you will doDefine and manage project scope, schedule, resources, dependencies and constraints while focusing on regular and timely delivery of milestones. Projects consist of helping to manage project release teams and other projects as required by the General Manager (GM).Assign, track, and follow-up on various project tasks while holding individuals accountable to commitmentsOrganize and lead project status meetings while keeping stakeholders regularly updated by preparing and distributing progress reportsResolve obstacles by creating the appropriate modifications to the project plan to minimize risks and issuesPerform delivery planning and execution for assigned projects by leveraging key individualsLeverage resources and tools to improve capacity and efficiency for project completion Support the project sponsor in managing expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governanceManage a well-defined project management process, communication channels and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practicesPromote empowerment of the project team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project, making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of qualityLeverage organizational resources to assist personnel management in conflict resolutionAttend all meetings necessary for the seamless delivery of the projectsCollaboration with all Project Managers within the General Manager (GM) structure to ensure consistency of project management processes, tools and practices.Work closely with the Operations Managers within the General Manager (GM) structure to drive processes within the Business Unit.
QualificationsMust have:Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.Good understanding of one or more project management methodologiesGood understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle or Information TechnologyGood knowledge of conflict resolution techniquesGood ability to manage a multi-function group Good level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issuesGood understanding of the business domain and needs to facilitate project plans that align with business prioritiesAbility to keep skills current with changing industry demands as identified by the department training siteBasic understanding of industry practicesGeneral proficiency with tools, systems, and proceduresBasic planning/organizational skills and techniquesGood decision making, analysis and problem solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic presentation and public speaking skillsBasic interpersonal skillsDeveloping professional credibility
The posted range for this position is $57,000 - $71,250 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
